Chris is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of AZA Capital Management. He leads the research and analysis behind our adaptive portfolios, writes our monthly market recap and quarterly commentary, and hosts our twice-yearly market overview webinars. He has also appeared on Schwab Network to discuss markets and the economy. Clients often meet him when they want a closer look at how their portfolio is positioned.
Prior to joining AZA, Chris worked at InterOcean Capital LLC, UBS O'Connor, New Millennium Hedge Fund, and Deloitte & Touche. Before his career in the private sector, Chris served as a captain in the United States Army.
Chris earned a BS in engineering physics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an MPP with concentration in economics and finance from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
